Hav or Hav Not!!!

Had my own Make Your Own Havianas (MYOH) Today at Rockwell Tent today...
My first choice was to use Marine blue but it was out of stock... and thought of the idea of watching the blue sole with an India Orange strap... but the end result of...
Navy Blue Sole and Green Strap with a jeepney and sorbetero pin.
I wanted it to have a taste of Pinoy to explain the Jeepney and Sorbetero pin... Quite fun to mix and match... though I hope there's those printed sole options... but I'm happy with my MYOH... =>

Thinking of a Getaway...

Seeing PAL Great Miles Getaway Promo... I'm tempted on using my miles to have another Sydney Getaway... It's a long shot given that its a limited seats offer but 20,000 miles to Sydney is real tempting... but as of now, there's so much to consider...

1) the visa - I think this is probable to arrange given that this won't be my first time down under...
2) the time - This is the bigger dilemma since I really haven't thought of my life that far... and some things are brewing that may ran counter a long vacation...
3) the weather - It's gonna be winter there and though I love the cold weather, I don't think it would be a easy to move around with that type of weather. I would have preferred the autumn season or maybe try to catch the spring...
4) the promo - the booking period is until June 10 and I'm nowhere near decided on this trip
5) the itinerary - I've visited most of what I have to visit in Sydney and going there just a year after my first visit would be a bit anti climatic... I was thinking my next visit to be an outback experience or to visit other areas in Australia...
6) Family and friends - One of the reason I enjoyed my visit last year was the multitude of family and friends in this area... I haven't really checked on any body's time and availability for a me... though I'm more of a shared burden here since there's so many relatives here...
7) The time off - I'm still looking to reward myself for the efforts I exerted last year and just spend time off and time away...

And the list goes on but this is just a thought as of now... and chances are it may just remain as such... though of course, there's always a degree of unpredictability on my part... and then again, there are other destinations to consider... Hmmm.... Japan is just 10,000 miles away... or that's also several domestic trips.. hehe...

1 Wisdom Tooth Less

Unfortnately my sweet tooth taste had the better of one of my wisdom tooth and it would have been better to have it removed... The first question I asked my dentist was...

"If you take away my wisdom tooth, will I be dumb?"

Half meant and pure joke... haha... Well, had grown my wisdom tooth early during high school and now, 1 have I less wisdom tooth... Ok, I think I'm not dumber one level but one thing for sure it's still a bit sore... after the anesthesia has worn out... It also was ages when I last had a tooth removed... So I really forgot how's the process of extracting a tooth...

Anyway, after the procedure, my question was...

"Can I eat Ice Cream?"

Haha... I got a yes answer... I always associated a visit with the dentist with a subsequent visit at the ice cream parlor... I think we still did have the Coney Island Ice Cream in Session Road when I was a kid... Unfortunately, the rest of the solid foof, I have to skip for the next 24 hours or I can just chew rabbit style (with my 2 front teeth)... Maybe it could start me on a diet course... hehe... =>

How Well Do You Know Franc Ramon???

Did take me sometime to decide to post my own quiz in facebook... It was hard to really think of questions... Also, quite scary if I ended up making a quiz with nobody interested in answering it... but what the heck, decided to try it just for fun...

Thought about some questions that were trivial in such a way that if you didn't know the answer, there'll be an interesting info about me... The nostalgia in the basic and the tricky queries was mind bending...

Had a few friends who braved the quiz and so far Sharon and Arnold are tops at 80% and seriously, I never expected someone to score this high... and before I used to fear to take this quiz because I might get low and show what lousy friend I am but I really do appreciate those who did brave the quiz as they were interested enough (or coerced enough) to know some interesting facts about me...

Anyway, My life is an open book... It just so happens that the book is a mystery... Ok, I'm not really that shady but I just figure it's such a cool ironic quote... =>

Excess Inkblogs: Maybe the next time I make a quiz, maybe there should be a prize... hehe...

Ini Mini Miny Mo

Ini Mini Miny Mo... depicts my current volatility in my mindset... and when probably faced by a decision on steps tp take, it may just be on where the roulette has landed... Ok, the easier term would be lost and clueless... an eternal pro vs con situation that shifts day by day...

I'm much of an epicure to have a sole mindset... and as things are... the factors and situations are constantly switching and changing... so really a toss up and as I say it's been day to day for quite some time now... The anything goes mentality makes this a bit more exciting yet of course, if you ask me what's in store for weeks, months and years from now... I can safely say I don't know...

I haven't blogged as often as I used to cause I guess events are not interesting... I don't really have the most interesting persona to start with... A part of me is bored so everytime I try to conjure up something I end up on a blank wall... That's probably a drawback of not having a game plan... Not much to look forward to... and as the choices that come my way... I have to use a simple approach... Ini Mini Miny Mo...

Deep Thought...

The last few days have been more of thoughts than actions... In the midst of vacation in... vacation out routine... I remembered that I'm still in a period of reassessment on where to go... and what to do...

Quite untimely for me to go on this mindset... With the world's economy retreating and the job market compressing, I still am somehow, reconsidering my options... Surprisingly though, a few options are starting to pop out... That's a thought that would really take time to digest... I'm still in the opinion that the recession is just a way of telling us that we're moving too fast and that we need a break... I wonder when I get that break...

On another thought, I'm starting to gain weight though it was not as much as I expected considering all the vacation as of late... It really takes real effort to grab that Wii controls and do the exercise routine... but I really need to shed some pounds... so will have to exert more effort...

Well, I guess the deep thought phase was triggered by me having the long break last year in OZ at this time while it was broken down to several small breather this year... It's the leanest of my lean season and though I had my share of vacation... I'm still caught with the thought of wanting more... Hmm... I'm just a few miles away from another free vacation from down under... Just thinking... =>

Bora... At Last!!!

This was a long wait... considering that I handled the audit of the Boracay project of my clients in my audit years... It was odd that it's only now that I have set foot on the Island of Boracay...

So what can I say...
1) The powdery white sand and the long stretch of the beach makes it fascinating
2) I love ATV with the overlooking view of the island
3) Had a roller coaster ride with the waves during the island hoping
4) Beach side massage is so relaxing
5) There are so much variety of food and souvenirs
6) Nice to see droves of people having fun
7) Pacquiao rocked Bora
8) There are still some attractions I did leave out for my next visit
9) It's a nice place to party
10) The runway at the airport is really short and ensures an exciting landing
11) Just had a glimmer of sunset with the weather
12) and of course, it's always nice place to just chill

We did spend most of the time under gloomy weather but it still was fun... too bad the summer season is over with the rains... been to Bohol, Bicol and Bora this summer (Does hometown Baguio count in the B-series???)... I just hope to squeeze in some more getaway when the sun peaks again...

The flavor of my summer has shifted to a visit around Ph instead of my usual out of the country routine (ok still had Taiwan and SG in March and April) but I'm now happy to tick off some of the Ph attractions to visit... and of course, more to come... =>
